Southeastern Railway Museum host various community events for all to enjoy. To find upcoming events, please see below.

October 13, 10:00AM – 12:00PM,  2nd Thursday Preschool Program – Cherry Picker

The Second Thursday of each month is our Pre-School Program at the Southeastern Railway Museum.

This is an interactive educational program that allows the parent and child to participate together in activities related to the “Vehicle of the Month”. For more info, see www.train-museum.org, click on Events.

 

October 29, 11:00AM – 4:00PM,  Train-Or-Treat

Come celebrate Halloween at the museum. All activities are included in museum admission. Costume Contest for ages up to 12 Fall craft activity Trick or Treating at decorated stations around the museum Wagon rides Fall themed refreshments Bill’s Grills On Wheels will be onsite for lunch Hand car rides. November 5, 10:00AM – November 6, 5:00PM, Model Railroad Days

November 18, 10:00AM to December 31, 5:00PM, 2nd Annual Festival Of Trees

Sponsored by the Duluth Historical Society The 2nd Annual Festival of Trees will be open (during normal museum operating days/hours)Nov 18th throurgh Dec 31, 2016.  Attending the Festival of Trees is included in your museum admission. The Festival of Trees is a unique event at the Southeastern Railway Museum combining community support into a Christmas wonderland. In it’s inaugural season in 2015, Festival of Trees had over 25 community sponsored & decorated trees throughout the museum. For more info, see www.train-museum.org, click on Events.

 

November 19, 12:30PM – 3:00PM, Santa’s Arriving

Santa’s been called and he’s going to arrive at the museum by train on Saturday, November 19 at 1pm. Santa will be welcomed  again this year by the Jingle Bell Dancers from Miss Cindy’s Dance Studio There will be refreshments, music, entertainment and an opportunity to make pictures in a historic setting for your Christmas cards. November 26, 3:00PM – December 17, 6:00PM, Polar Express Experience

We had to add shows this year due to demand, from 11 to 17 and as of 10/05, all shows are SOLD OUT.

December 10, 9:00AM – December 17, 11:30AM, Breakfast With Santa
