What a celebration 150 years in the making!

On September 12, Downtown Duluth came alive for The Big 150: Off the Rails as our community gathered to celebrate the City of Duluth’s 150th anniversary.
From live performances by The Smithereens and Grand Funk Railroad to carnival games, dunk tanks, birthday cake and a crowd ready to celebrate, the day was filled with memorable moments from start to finish.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this historic milestone one to remember. Duluth’s story has been shaped by generations of people who have called this community home, and we were proud to celebrate 150 years together.
