Downtown Duluth came alive with ghostly tales and spirited fun during this year’s Haunted Duluth Tours! Residents and visitors alike explored the city’s historic streets while uncovering eerie legends and hidden stories from the past. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for a night of thrills, laughter, and community connection. We can’t wait to welcome you back next year for another hauntingly good time!

Rogers Bridge Park was glowing with campfires, laughter, and community spirit during this year’s S’mores ’n Snores! Families from all over Duluth gathered for a night under the stars, filled with games, music, crafts, and of course…plenty of gooey s’mores.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this family-friendly campout such a warm and memorable experience. Your enthusiasm brought the park to life and reminded us what makes Duluth so special.

The City of Duluth has earned national recognition for creativity and design excellence, taking home a Silver Circle Award in the Graphic Design category at the 2025 3CMA Savvy Awards in Las Vegas.

Presented by the City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA), the Savvy Awards celebrate outstanding local government achievements in communications, marketing, and public engagement. Duluth’s winning project — the colorful and interactive Downtown Selfie Stations — was praised by judges as a “fun and creative way to highlight noteworthy spots in your community.”

Designed to inspire community connection and user-generated content, the Selfie Stations have quickly become a favorite feature among residents and visitors, helping to showcase Duluth’s vibrant downtown and hometown pride.

 

 

Downtown Duluth was filled with music, energy, and community spirit as residents and visitors gathered for the annual Fall Festival Concert on Saturday, September 20 at the Duluth Festival Center. The night kicked off with live entertainment, followed by the official Festival T-shirt reveal, and closed with a high-energy performance from Rupert’s Orchestra that had the crowd on their feet. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable evening. We can’t wait to see you again at the Duluth Fall Festival!

 

Dogtoberfest 2025 was a tail-wagging success thanks to YOU, Duluth! From the lively polka tunes and Oktoberfest games to the Dynamo Dogs Stunt Show, adoptable pups, and plenty of wagging tails, the Town Green was filled with joy, laughter, and community spirit. We’re grateful to everyone who came out with their four-legged friends to celebrate with us.

This past Saturday, Parsons Alley came alive with incredible energy as we gathered for Les Bon IV. From fresh oysters and world-class brews to local makers and live music, the day was a true celebration of food, flavor, and community.

The City of Duluth proudly joined Planned PEThood of Georgia in celebrating 15 years of lifesaving impact. At last week’s ribbon-cutting ceremony, Mayor Greg Whitlock read a proclamation on behalf of the City recognizing the organization’s dedication to affordable veterinary care, spay/neuter services, adoption efforts, and community support. Since 2010, Planned PEThood has grown from a small clinic into a statewide force for good — improving the lives of thousands of pets and families each year.
