Due to the potential weather threat, Duluth City Offices will close at 3pm today and plan to reopen at the regularly scheduled time on Monday, January 9th .
As the storm approaches we are readying all our equipment. We have a contractor on standby with two large tractors to assist in scraping. All Public Work employees will go to 12 hour shifts and stay on those shifts throughout. We have thousands of pounds of salt and sand to be used as needed. We will do the best we can to keep City roads passable, but we continue to encourage people to stay off the roads.
